TERMS & CONDITIONS: 

When applying for affiliate status for the Royal Mail program, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as stated below:

Brand Guidelines:

Affiliates should only use supplied graphics and logos on their sites and are not permitted to alter any of the creative available through the interface.

  • All sales are exclusive of VAT and delivery charges.
  • Cookie window 30 days.
  • Please note that if an affiliate sale has used a code only available to another affiliate (i.e another affiliate’s exclusive code, email sign-up code), then their commission will be declined.
  • Sales and tenancy payment will take up to 60 days to process from when the sale has been made. Tenancy payments are confirmed in the system once uploaded, however they are not invoiced until all sale validations are complete, which is 5 weeks after a transaction to allow for cancellations.

Other terms: 

  • PPC: Royal Mail operates a restricted keyword policy on all its brand names and trademarks. Affiliates are not permitted to bid on any branded terms without written authorization from Royal Mail. This also includes variations and misspellings associated with the Royal Mail brand and use of Royal Mail URL’s (www.royalmail.com, royalmail.com and any variations related to the Royal Mail brand). If these restrictions are not adhered to, you will be removed from the program and all open transactions will be rejected.
  • Voucher Codes: The affiliate voucher codes are those which are listed in the Tradedoubler Voucher code API. Any other voucher codes that are used in affiliate sales will not receive commission, unless there's a written agreement from Royal Mail
  • Google Shopping: Affiliates are not permitted to run Google Shopping campaigns unless authorised by Royal Mail.
  • Social media: posting on Royal Mail social media pages (i.e the Royal Mail Facebook wall) to drive traffic back to affiliates own sites is strictly prohibited. Direct linking to Royal Mail websites from paid social media is prohibited.
  • Blogger / Influencer Content: all communications related to Royal Mail products and services sent to or shared with bloggers’ and influencers’ user base will require Royal Mail approval prior to sending. 
  • Tracking: Please ensure you use the tracking links provided by TradeDoubler to ensure your customer journey is properly tracked.

Royal Mail reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time so please review regularly.

PO box

If you don’t want to share your home address for any reason or if you're looking to maintain your privacy, a Royal Mail PO Box may be exactly what you need, particularly if you:

- Keep home address and business address separate.

- Keep privacy if you don’t want to share your home address.

- Keep post private if you live in shared accommodation.

Keepsafe

A Keepsafe will help keep your home and identity safe by letting us hold onto your mail in our secure premises while you're away. We will deliver your mail when you return home. It's easy to apply for a Keepsafe online and we will get you set up as soon as we can, though it could take as long as five days.

- Prevent theft or loss of sensitive documents

- Build-up of post can be a giveaway to burglars.

- We can hold on to your mail for between 10 and 100 days and deliver on your return.
