What is your cookie window? We use a standard cookie window of 30 days.
What commission can I earn? We offer 5% commission on all transport only vehicle and foot passenger bookings generated. The commission earned is based on the total order value. Commission cannot be earned where customers pay using Tesco e-tokens or with Stena Line Extra Loyalty Points.
Keyword Bidding Restrictions You must only use generic keywords to promote your business and must not use Stena Line brand related keywords and/or our domain name to represent your business as being that of Stena Line itself.
Affiliates are not allowed to bid on or use Stena Line brand terms, or display any of its misspellings, in solus form or in conjunction with any other term.
Here are the basic guidelines for inclusion on the programme.
The affiliate site must offer substantial content to the visitor over and above that which the Stena Line site offers
Affiliate content such as banners/site links must form a small proportion of content on the site (not just Stena Line specific content).
Content should be recent and updated regularly.
Content specifically about Stena Line should be accurate.
Preference will be given to affiliates that offer discussion forums, newsletters or blogs with regularly updated unique content. Overall site professionalism – presentation and layout is important.
Some negatives to avoid:-
Some areas that stand out as ‘unprofessional’ - the use of ticker and weather apps in prominent positions; poor spelling, including of our brand names, especially on the landing page and in titles; large blocks of text as would appear in a novel.
Pricing - Euro and Sterling as main pricing is fine - $ is not e.g. voucher sites that present North American retailers (that do not have a UK/Ireland equivalent) on the landing page.
Sites that are copies of other sites - recently seen an increase in voucher sites that are indistinguishable from most other voucher sites.
