Who is Movistar Plus?

Movistar Plus is a company belonging to the Telefónica Group, whose activity is audiovisual production and broadcasting. It is a pay-TV platform born from the merger of Movistar TV and Canal+.

How to subscribe to Movistar Plus?

There are 2 subscription methods for this platform:

If you are a Movistar customer, through content packages (Total Television, Sports, Football, Fiction, etc.). We do not work with this option in this program (although from some content pages we have potential traffic leaks to them, such as the links from this page: https://www.movistarplus.es/tarifas/paquetes-tv). This page is linked from common content sheets. No commissions will be paid for these products contracted at www.movistar.es

Even if you are not a Movistar customer (for both customers and non-customers), as of August 2023, Movistar Plus is marketed as a streaming platform within the OTT market (with competitors such as Netflix, HBO, Disney+, Prime, etc.). It offers selected content from its global catalogue. It is a subscription model, with no commitment period, and can only be contracted through: contratar.movistarplus.es — not by phone or any other method.

What do I need to subscribe to Movistar Plus €9.99?

The only way to subscribe to Movistar Plus as a streaming platform is through its website: www.movistarplus.es, accessing the only available checkout for this product: contratar.movistarplus.es

The checkout is very simple — only an email and a credit card are required to complete the subscription.

The subscription is immediate, and you can start enjoying the content from the very moment of subscription.

Currently, Movistar Plus €9.99 also offers gift cards and sales codes at physical points of sale such as large retail stores or tobacco shops (estancos). These codes must also be redeemed online, with the common checkout being: activate.movistarplus.es

What plans does Movistar Plus offer?

As of May 5, 2026, Movistar Plus is marketed in two subscription tiers, both with no commitment period:

🎬 Plan Libre Cine y Series – €4.99/month Includes the entire catalogue of cinema, series, documentaries, entertainment, and kids' content. Channels broadcasting sports events are excluded (Canal Movistar Plus, Vamos por M+, LALIGA TV HYPERMOTION, Eurosport 1 and 2, 1ª Federación, and Gol).

⚽ Plan Libre Cine, Series y Deportes – €9.99/month Includes everything from the €4.99 plan plus the premium sports channels: LALIGA EA Sports, LALIGA Hypermotion, Champions League, Premier League, Primera Federación, Eurosport 1 and 2, tennis, EuroLeague, and much more.

Both plans include the Cero por M+ channel, incorporated into both tiers since May 5, 2026.

  • Cookie period: 30 days
  • Channels are not allowed: SEM (no search engine), Influencer campaigns in RRSS without approval.
  • Creativites: There will always be a game of creativities and generic banners, as well as of the main categories. Size adjustments can be made as needed.
  • Any message, creativity or email changes must be validated by the Movistar Plus team prior to launch.

 

 

No commissions will be paid to affiliates who do not comply with the rules of the program or take any unapproved action, in addition to being expelled from the affiliate program.
