Commission Structure

Affiliates will earn 10% on the net amount of every ticket sold through your referral. Commission will be calculated and paid based on the total net amount of the sale. There are some exclusions; commission will not be paid on the products and items listed below (note, this list is not exhaustive and is subject to change):

Go City Tickets.
Tickets booked using Revisit Vouchers, Gift Vouchers, Complimentary Tickets, View Guarantee Vouchers, tickets purchased using Tesco Clubcard Reward Codes, or third-party agent tickets that are required to be redeemed via our website.
Charity Donations.
Admin and/or booking fees.
Tickets that are rebooked.
Certain Special Events.

Commissions will be paid monthly by the affiliate network, in accordance with their terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees associated with receiving commission payments. In the event of dispute, the decision of The View from The Shard remains final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the affiliate campaign ("Affiliate Campaign") operated by The View from The Shard ("we," "us," or "our").

1.2 By participating in the Affiliate Campaign, you ("Affiliate," "you," or "your") agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 To participate in the Affiliate Campaign, you must be at least 18 years old.

2.2 You must have an active and valid website, blog, or social media presence.

3. Affiliate Registration

3.1 You must complete the affiliate application process and be approved by us to participate in the Affiliate Campaign.

3.2 We reserve the right to accept or reject any affiliate application at our discretion.

4. Promotional Materials

4.1 We will provide you with promotional materials, including banners, text links, and other creative assets.

4.2 You may only use the promotional materials provided by us in the manner directed unless you have expressed written permission from The View from The Shard. To submit a request for expressed written permission, please email trade@theviewfromtheshard.com.

5. Affiliate Responsibilities

5.1 You agree to promote The View from The Shard in a responsible and professional manner, and in accordance with the brand guidelines.

5.2 You must not engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities, including but not limited to spamming, false advertising, or cookie stuffing.

5.3 You are responsible for ensuring that your promotional activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Commission Structure

6.1 You will earn a commission for each qualifying sale generated through your unique affiliate link.

6.2 The commission rate will be specified in your affiliate dashboard.

6.3 Commissions are subject to change.

6.3 Commissions will only be paid for sales that are successfully tracked through the affiliate system and meet the criteria outlined in these Terms.

7. De-duplication

7.1 Sales generated through multiple affiliate links or channels will be subject to de-duplication to ensure that commissions are only paid once for each qualifying sale.

7.2 De-duplication controls will be in place via the affiliate network that will identify and attribute the sale to the first affiliate link or channel through which the customer accessed The View from The Shard.

7.3 In cases where the de-duplication process cannot determine the first source, we reserve the right to attribute or refuse the sale at our discretion.

7.4 You agree to our de-duplication policies and understand that commission payments will be adjusted accordingly.

8. Validation Policy

8.1 All sales generated through your affiliate link will be subject to validation to ensure they are genuine, completed transactions.

8.2 Validation includes but is not limited to verifying the purchase, ensuring no cancellations or refunds, and confirming the transaction complies with these Terms.

8.3 Commissions will only be paid on validated and successful sales. Any sales that do not pass validation will not be eligible for commission.

8.4 Due to the nature of the products and services we offer, the validation will happen approximately 30 days after the booked visit date, and not the sales date.

8.5 Commissions will be paid only after the validation process is complete.

8.6 We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions for any sales that are subsequently deemed invalid, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.

1. Introduction

This Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Policy (the "Policy") outlines the rules and restrictions for affiliates participating in The View from The Shard's affiliate program (the "Affiliate Program") with respect to PPC advertising. By participating in the Affiliate Program, you ("Affiliate," "you," or "your") agree to comply with this Policy.

2. Restricted PPC Practices

2.1 Brand Term Bidding

Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on any keywords or phrases that include "The View from The Shard" or any variations or misspellings thereof.

Examples of prohibited keywords include, but are not limited to, "The View from The Shard," "View from Shard," "Shard View," "The Shard London," and similar terms.

2.2 Brand + Generic Terms

Affiliates are not allowed to bid on brand-plus generic terms such as "The View from The Shard tickets," "The View from The Shard discounts," or "The View from The Shard offers."

2.3 Display URL

Affiliates may not use "The View from The Shard" or any variations thereof in the display URL of their ads.

Examples of prohibited display URLs include "www.viewfromtheshard.com/discount" or "www.theviewshard.com/tickets."

2.4 Ad Copy Restrictions

Affiliates are not allowed to use "The View from The Shard" or any variations or misspellings in their ad copy, including titles, descriptions, and extensions.

3. Negative Keyword Requirements

3.1 Affiliates must add "The View from The Shard" and all variations and misspellings as negative keywords in their PPC campaigns to prevent their ads from appearing in searches for our brand terms.

3.2 Affiliates should regularly update their negative keyword list to include new variations and misspellings as they arise.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

4.1 We reserve the right to monitor affiliates' PPC activities to ensure compliance with this Policy.

4.2 If we discover that an affiliate is in violation of this Policy, we may take any of the following actions:

Issue a warning to the Affiliate.
Suspend the Affiliate’s participation in the Affiliate Program.
Terminate the Affiliates participation in the Affiliate Program.
Withhold or reverse any commissions earned as a result of non-compliant PPC activities.

5. Reporting Violations

5.1 If you become aware of any violations of this Policy by other affiliates, you are encouraged to report them to us immediately.

5.2 Reports can be made by contacting our affiliate support team at [affiliate support email/phone].

6. Amendments

6.1 We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy on our website or by email.

6.2 Your continued participation in the Affiliate Program after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
