BillGoose is a UK household-bills comparison brand designed to make it easier for customers to understand and compare their everyday costs. Our launch category is Mobile, Broadband & TV, with additional household categories planned after launch.

We are looking to work with high-quality publishers that can reach UK consumers with genuine household, money-saving, moving-home or switching intent. Priority partners include cashback and loyalty, household and personal-finance content, comparison, home-moving audiences, and selected email, display, social and generic paid-search partners.

Publishers must follow the BillGoose programme terms, Tradedoubler’s publisher agreements and codes of conduct, applicable UK advertising rules, and all data-protection/direct-marketing requirements relevant to their traffic source. Brand bidding, misleading savings claims, cookie stuffing, forced clicks and undisclosed sub-publisher activity are not permitted.

Eligibility and approval. Participation is subject to approval by BillGoose and TradeDoubler. Approval applies only to the publisher sites, apps, social accounts, email lists or other traffic sources disclosed in the application. Materially different traffic sources require prior written approval. Promotions should target UK consumers unless BillGoose agrees otherwise in writing.

Allowed Publisher Types

BillGoose is willing to work with any publisher type, provided the content and promotion are consistent with BillGoose's values and these terms. All publisher applications are reviewed before acceptance and in some cases BillGoose may ask to speak directly with the publisher before approving an application.

Commission. The products and services eligible for commission, where approved and available under the programme, are as follows:

  • Broadband: £15.00
  • Mobile 1: £10.00
  • Mobile 2: £7.00
  • Sim Only: £2.00
  • Single Fuel Energy: £7.00
  • Dual Fuel Energy: £14.00
  • Bundle Bills: £20.00
  • Motor insurance: £15.00

As BillGoose operates as an aggregator, sales may take up to 48 hours to appear in reports for some product or service categories.

The majority of Mobile sales will be tracked as Mobile 1. Mobile 2 is reserved for special cases where BillGoose revenue is significantly lower on certain products. A list of these products can be made available on request.

Stated commissions in these terms and conditions are the base rates. BillGoose reserves the right to increase these commissions for certain publishers during certain periods of time, subject to applicable TradeDoubler programme requirements.

Attribution. The attribution period is 30 days post click. BillGoose may de-duplicate against other eligible paid marketing channels under the disclosed attribution policy. Direct/organic visits will not intentionally overwrite an existing eligible affiliate attribution.

Validation. Transactions remain subject to supplier/downstream-network confirmation. Sales where a customer is renewing a contract rather than switching a contract may be declined. Where a customer has indicated their existing supplier, BillGoose will remove that supplier from the comparison results where possible. BillGoose may reject transactions that are declined, cancelled, duplicate, fraudulent, test activity, unmatched, ineligible or generated in breach of programme terms. Only transactions for products and services currently approved and enabled under the programme are commissionable.

Brand bidding. Publishers must not bid on “BillGoose”, “Bill Goose”, “billgoose.com”, confusingly similar variants or misspellings, or combine BillGoose trademarks with generic keywords, unless BillGoose gives written permission.

Paid search. Generic paid search may be permitted for approved publishers. Publishers must not impersonate BillGoose, use misleading ad copy, misrepresent savings, or use BillGoose trademarks in display URLs/ad text without permission.

Domains and impersonation. No typosquatting, lookalike domains, cloned BillGoose pages, deceptive redirects or other activity that could cause a consumer to believe the publisher is BillGoose.

Cashback and loyalty. Permitted for approved publishers. The publisher is responsible for the accuracy and fulfilment of its own cashback/reward proposition. Cashback wording must not imply that BillGoose itself guarantees or funds the reward unless expressly agreed.

Voucher/coupon activity. Publishers must not publish invented, expired, unauthorised or misleading BillGoose voucher codes. At launch, no BillGoose voucher code should be advertised unless supplied through an approved programme communication.

Email/SMS/direct marketing. Prior approval required. Publishers must comply with UK GDPR, PECR and applicable direct-marketing rules, use appropriately permissioned data, identify the sender, provide required opt-out mechanisms and maintain suppression records. Publishers must retain evidence of relevant marketing permissions and make it available on reasonable request. Scraped or unlawfully acquired lists are prohibited.

Social/influencer/content. Affiliate advertising must be obviously identifiable as advertising where required. Publishers must not present paid affiliate content as independent consumer advice when the commercial relationship is not otherwise clear.

Sub-networks. Prior approval required. The primary publisher remains responsible for each sub-publisher, must be able to identify the source of every click/transaction and must ensure sub-publishers comply with these terms and Tradedoubler requirements.

Browser extensions/software. Not permitted at launch unless specifically approved in writing after a technical and compliance review.

Traffic quality. Cookie stuffing, click injection, forced clicks, invisible iframes, misleading redirects, bot traffic, adware, malware, incentivised activity not disclosed/approved, or manipulation of attribution is prohibited.

Creative and claims. Use current approved BillGoose assets and landing pages. Do not make guaranteed savings, “best”, “cheapest”, “whole of market” or similar objective claims unless the claim is explicitly supplied or can be substantiated for the specific promotion. Publishers must promptly update or remove withdrawn offers, expired tariffs, inaccurate prices or superseded promotional material when notified by BillGoose. Materially misleading or unauthorised promotions must be removed immediately. Relevant product eligibility, pricing and regulatory disclosures supplied with approved materials must be included.

Data and privacy. Publishers must not pass unnecessary personal data in tracking parameters. Any personal-data sharing requires an appropriate lawful basis, transparency and security controls. Any personal data shared with or passed to BillGoose requires prior written approval. Publishers must obtain any consent required for cookies or other non-essential tracking technologies and respect customer choices. Publishers must notify BillGoose promptly of any material data protection or security incident affecting a BillGoose promotion.

Compliance and removal. BillGoose may request changes to non-compliant promotions and may ask TradeDoubler to suspend or remove publishers in line with the network agreement. Material breaches may result in transaction rejection where contractually permitted.
