Event definitions

The “Free Trial” event is registered when a user successfully registers for a Free Trial on Audible.

The “Direct Subscription” event is registered

When a user who previously registered for a Free Trial but did not convert at the time, later subscribes to a paid service.
When a former paid subscriber reactivates their paid Audible subscription.
When a direct promotion (fixed price for a certain period) is offered.

Rejection reasons (for Direct Subscription events)
The event will be rejected if:

The user opts for a credit card payment but does not complete the payment process due to a failed 3DS (Three-Domain Secure) authentication.
The user attempts to subscribe using a stolen credit card.
The user chooses direct debit as a payment method, and Audible is unable to charge the bank account after three failed attempts (one attempt every 30 days).

Audible BR relies exclusively on a tracking method called Clean Room (CR) tracking. This method allows Audible BR to track up to 40% more conversions compared to other tracking methods. All conversions, including free trials and direct subscriptions, will appear in your publisher panel once Audible BR has registered, verified, and approved them. This validation process can take up to 30 days, although the average time from a user registering with Audible BR to the related conversion being approved and displayed in your publisher panel is just a few days. Once approved, conversions are displayed in your publisher panel on the following day, with the original transaction date reflecting when the conversion was tracked, not when it was validated.
