Programme Restrictions
Unless explicitly authorised by Day Out With The Kids and DOWTK the following Programme restrictions apply:
- Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word ‘Day Out With The Kids or Day Out With The Kids Pass or DOWTK or misspellings of this in the URL.
-Affiliates wishing to promote Day Out With The Kids Pass using the PPC channel must do so using their own websites or landing pages.
- Affiliates must not include Day Out With The Kids or DOWTK Brand Terms, or misspelt variations of the same, in the sub-domain of their website’s URL.
- Affiliates may use correctly spelt Day Out With The Kids Brand Terms after the domain of their website’s URL. For example, http://www.affiliate.com/dayoutwiththekids
- Affiliates are not allowed to register the brand Day Out With The Kids or DOWTK or any variation of it on any social media platform. This includes and does not limit to brand + generic word or sentence as well generic word or sentence + brand. Any attempt to register such social media accounts will be a direct breach of terms and conditions.
- Affiliates must not post on any official Day Out With The Kids social media platform in order to attempt to drive visitors to their webpage. Day Out With The Kids social media platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok. - Only new subscriptions still active on day 32 after signing up will count as a qualifying transaction which commission will be paid on.
- Standard commissions only payable on full priced subsciptions plans. Excluding all offers and discounts.
- Direct linking to Day Out With The Kids websites from paid social media is prohibited unless agreed beforehand between the Publisher and Supplier.
Any affiliates who do not abide by these rules risk having their commissions set to zero and possible suspension.
- Before joining the Affiliate Program, please ensure your website does not display or sell advertising on any website that contravenes any law or regulation governing false or deceptive advertising
Email policy:
We are happy to work through the email channel with our prior consent and sign off on any emails before they are sent however, be aware that emails must adhere to the CAN-SPAM act. Day Out With The Kids are against Spamming, if an affiliate is found Spamming then the transactions will be cancelled, and the affiliate will be suspended from the program.
Declined commission:
By accepting these terms, affiliates acknowledge that Day Out With The Kids has the right to decline commission based on traffic generated outside of the UK & marketing source deduplication. Affiliates are rewarded based on a last click attribution.
Discount codes:
Day Out With The Kids encourages affiliates to contact us for exclusive voucher/discount codes and additional incentives for closed user groups.
Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Day Out With The Kids affiliate programme (either through our account or directly from Day Out With The Kids Affiliate Manager).
Day Out With The Kids reserves the right to withhold payment of commission if unauthorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale. We appreciate that consumers may use voucher codes that they have found via a site other than that which is awarded the sale, and this will be investigated before decisions on commission payment are made. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this due date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme. Please also ensure that you observe IAB voucher code best practice guidelines.
Offer Promotional Guidelines:
- Publishers are encouraged to share our publicly available website content and offers. In the 'my offers' section in Tradedoubler and you will find brands and offers we actively recommend promoting. Please note our brand partners can withdraw from being promoted as part of our affiliate program at any time, in this instance all publishers will be notified. 
- You are not authorised to publish the names and discounts of any of the Merlin Entertainments attractions in conjunction with Day Out With The Kids Pass including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, SEA LIFE Centres, Warwick Castle, LEGOLAND Resorts, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, London Eye, The Dungeons, Madame Tussauds, Chessington World of Adventures & Blackpool Tower.
- Warner Bros. Studio Tours – The Making of Harry Potter
- You are not allowed to publish the names and discounts of the cinema chains in conjunction with Day Out With The Kids including: Cineworld, Odeon, The Light, Empire, Showcase.
 
Other:
We encourage sharing T&Cs as well as informing the reader that we are a subscription service, however, publishers who are found to be telling readers who sign up they should all actively cancel before the trial period ends (regardless of whether they’re enjoying their membership) will risk being removed from our programme.
