Exclusions to be aware of!

Please note that if an affiliate sale has used a code not available to them (i.e another affiliate’s exclusive code, email sign-up code), then their commission will be declined.

The following publisher types are not permitted to apply to the program: CSS, Paid Search, Display, Ad Networks including any form of content site that uses display to drive traffic.

Codes that have come through our direct mail campaigns sent to our returning customer base will be declined.

Creative
There is a variety of creative available in all sizes 120x600, 125x125, 300x250, 728x90, 468x60, 120x60

Logos
Please ensure you are using our most up to date logo. If you require another size, get in touch and we'll be happy to supply one.

As an affiliate, by applying to join the Furniture Village Affiliate Programme you are agreeing to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Any breach of our terms and conditions may result in exclusion from the Furniture Village affiliate programme and reversal of commissions where deemed appropriate at our discretion.

Discounts
Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Furniture Village Affiliate Programme.
Furniture Village reserves the right to withhold payment of commission or suspend publishers if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the Programme.
All discount/voucher code use must comply with the official IAB guidelines, which can be found here: https://www.iabuk.com/standards-guidelines/performance-marketing-advisory-group-code-conduct-vouchers
Creatives
Affiliates may not alter any creatives made available through the Tradedoubler interface. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so updates made to those available through Tradedoubler may take immediate effect. If your site requires that banners are hardcoded, please contact the Account Management team to obtain permission before putting this in place. This will allow us to contact you whenever updates are necessary.
Social Media
Affiliates may feature Furniture Village on social media platforms – branding restrictions and guidelines must be adhered to. However the Furniture Village brand should not be used in any way to register accounts on social media or via any other channel. Affiliates must bear in mind at all times that in order to comply with the spirit of our brand guidelines, they must never speak ‘as’ or ‘for’ the brand, they may only speak ‘about’ or ‘promote’ the brand or our products.
Domain Restrictions
1). Direct linking
Affiliates are not permitted to use any domains owned by Furniture Village as their display URL without express written permission.
2). Affiliate-owned domains
Affiliates are permitted to use brand terms as a directory, e.g. www.affiliate.com/furniture-village.
Affiliates are not permitted to create domains containing brand terms as a domain or sub-domain, e.g. www.affiliate-furniture-village.co.uk.
3). Landing pages
Affiliates are not permitted to construct a landing page for Furniture Village without pre-approval. Please contact the Account Management team beforehand.
Commissions
Furniture Village does not pay commission on:
• VAT
• Delivery charges
• Credit card fees
• Purchases of Gift cards
Affiliate offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount code, loyalty or cashback offer.
Discount codes are not valid on Clearance, Stock, Guardsman, delivery or disposal.
Valid online only, cannot be used in stores.
Furniture Village reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time.

Affiliates are not permitted to register, appear or bid on our pure brand terms, long tail terms, combined brand and generic terms or misspellings on any search engine (including Google, Yahoo, Bing and MSN) or any other similar services.
Affiliates are required to include brand and misspelling terms as negative keywords in any and all of their search engine marketing campaigns.
