The company, founded in 1856 in Vercelli, has since 1997 been part of the Sambonet Paderno Industrie group, controlled by the families of brothers Pierluigi and Franco Coppo through the holding company Arcturus Group. Many designers have collaborated with Sambonet, including Roberto Sambonet for the Pesciera, Center line and the Elite trays of the Linea 50, now on display at the MoMa in New York.
