Commission Structure

Publishers earn a flat 3.5% CPA on the ex-VAT product value of each valid, tracked sale. Shipping charges, digital gift cards and extended warranty products are excluded from the commissionable value. Commission is applied on a last-click basis (see De-duplication, below).

Note: we may introduce differentiated rates by publisher type at a later stage; any changes will be communicated in advance through the network.

Cookie Length & Recall Period

Cookie window: 30 days. A sale is attributed to a publisher where their referral is the last click within 30 days of the transaction.

Validation / recall period: 30 days. Sales are reviewed and validated within 30 days, after which approved commissions are confirmed for payment.

Terms & Conditions

PPC Policy — Closed

Affiliates and publishers may not undertake any paid search (PPC) activity in connection with this programme. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • Bidding on “A1 Tech Deals”, “A1Tech”, “A1 Tech”, “a1techdeals” or any close variant, misspelling or combination thereof, on any search engine or paid platform (including Google, Bing, Amazon and social platforms).
  • Bidding on our brand terms in combination with generic words (e.g. “A1 Tech Deals discount code”, “A1 Tech Deals voucher”).
  • Using our brand name or domain (a1techdeals.com) in paid-ad copy or in the visible / display URL of any paid ad.
  • Direct linking from any paid search ad to a1techdeals.com.

This policy protects our own paid-search activity and the integrity of the programme. Requests for limited, generic-only PPC may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior written approval.

Keyword & Bidding Restrictions

Our brand and all variations are protected. Publishers must add our brand terms (and common misspellings) as negative keywords across all paid campaigns. No use of our trademarks, logos or brand name is permitted in a way that implies an official or direct relationship beyond that of an affiliate, and no cybersquatting or typosquatting on domains containing our brand is allowed.

De-duplication Policy

Sales are tracked and de-duplicated on a last-click basis. Where more than one publisher is involved in a customer journey, commission is awarded to the publisher delivering the last qualifying click before the sale. Commission is payable only on sales tracked through the network.

Validation Policy

Sales are validated within the 30-day recall period. A sale will be declined / invalidated where the order is subsequently refunded, and likewise where an order is cancelled, returned or undeliverable, or where it is identified as fraudulent, duplicate, or a test transaction. Commissions on validated sales are confirmed at the end of the validation period.

General Terms

  • Only genuine, tracked sales placed through approved publisher links are commissionable.
  • Self-referrals and commission on the publisher’s own purchases are not permitted.
  • Publishers must not use unsolicited email (spam), adware, cookie-stuffing, or any incentivised, misleading or non-compliant promotional methods.
  • Discount or voucher codes may only be promoted where they have been officially issued or approved by A1 Tech Deals.
  • A1 Tech Deals reserves the right to amend programme terms, commission rates and creative, and to remove publishers in breach of these terms, with notice provided through the network.
